What an encouraging, inspiring and indeed, challenging day!On Saturday 10 March, six hundred people gathered in Telford for our Jars of Clay Volunteer Summit 2012. We spoke to countless people through the day who believe that God has specifically put the persecuted church on their hearts at this time. "It has opened my eyes to how God works in the persecuted church." - Vicky And it was amazing to see how God is bringing people together from different locations, at different stages in life, each with their own story to tell and their own unique contribution to make. "Made me feel part of God's worldwide family - God is so much bigger!" - Tamsin We were honoured to have Pastor Sameh and George sharing inspirational stories from their own experiences, and so many people pledged to help us pioneer our new campaign to strengthen Christians in the Arab World. It is wonderful that we can each be part of their story as we offer our ordinary gifts and trust God to do the extraordinary... "It has encouraged me to pray more for the persecuted church and to pray about how I can be more involved." - Justine Watch the highlights |
